Earlier in the match, Raheem Sterling continued his splendid run by scoring the first goal in the 20th minute. The goal came from a brilliant pass by Kevin De Bruyne that sterling managed to head in. The goal was soon nullified though as Erik Lamela equalised for Tottenham in the 23rd minute. De Bruyne was at it again in the 35th minute. Given the freedom by Spurs defenders, the Belgian kicked a pass to Sergio Aguero. The Argentine tapped the ball in to restore City’s lead. With barely a minute left for Half-time, Portuguese wonder, Bernardo Silva was seen toying with not one or two but three Tottenham players. He showed brilliant footwork in keeping the ball with him despite the three players trying their best to prise the ball from his feet.

At the moment of writing, Man City and Tottenham are tied at 2-2. Lucas Moura, who was bought in as a substitute, scored the equaliser after being in the pitch for merely 14 seconds! The Brazilian rose above everyone to score a stunning header past Ederson.

With still half an hour to go in the match, anyone of these two teams could walk home with the spoils of the war.
