If there is one man who has been synonymous with T20 cricket, someone who has been the perfect ambassador of the format, it has to be Chris Gayle. Ever since the format was introduced, Gayle has held his own, demolishing bowlers and creating a mockery out of even the finest bowling attacks.

Brute force, technique and confidence; that’s how Gayle rolls, and every time he clicks, he ends up entertaining everyone involved.
If there was anyone who deserved to reach the landmark of becoming the first batsman to hit 100 sixes in T20 Internationals, it had to be Chris Gayle.
He did so in emphatic fashion today, facing England in a one-off T20 at Chester-le-Street.
Gayle scored a blistering 40 today before he was run-out in tantalising fashion. But in the process of scoring that 40, he ended up becoming the first batsman to hit 100 sixes in T20 Internationals.
Chris Gayle has managed to hit 100 sixes in 52 T20 Internationals, averaging close to 2 sixes every game.
Gayle is followed by Brendon McCullum (91), Shane Watson ( 83), David Warner (74) and Shahid Afridi (73).
