WATCH: Crazy Daniel Ricciardo takes the shoey to Las Vegas
Daniel Ricciardo is a man at peace now, having made the surprise decision on switching to Renault from 2019 season onwards.
Daniel and Red Bull hadn’t been able to get a contract negotiation on the table for sometime now and while it seemed that the nod from the Australian would eventually come, that wasn’t quite what transpired last week.
Ricciardo and Red Bull announced their divorce, and Ricciardo announced his new love affair with Renault.
Now, that his future is secured, Ricciardo has gotten back to enjoying the summer break, chilling in Las Vegas before he gets back to the grind of F1.
Ricciardo’s famous ‘shoey’ celebration, one that he pulls out during podium celebrations is quite the spectacle.
And that spectacle was on display in Las Vegas as well, when ‘Dan the Man’ took out his shoe and drank a bit of alcohol from it(just like what he does on that podium).

The shoey celebrations could be a little cringeworthy for some but for die-hard Ricciardo fans, it is something that they associate their man with.
Ricciardo and Red Bull will enter into their final phase together after the summer break, and the Australian would be hoping to end his Red Bull career on a high by picking up a few wins.
Hopefully his future employers shell out engine upgrades in order to improve the Red Bull performance and provide the required reliability.
