WATCH: Crazy marshal runs onto the track during the 2015 Russian Grand Prix
The Russian Grand Prix is just a couple of days away and this is where the last stint of the 2018 season begins, with Hamilton leading the way by 40 points.
The next few races should give us a fair idea of where the title race is headed towards. Another slip up for Ferrari could means curtains for the team and for Sebastian Vettel. But a win in Sochi would reignite interest in the title race, something that every F1 fan longs for.
Now, in the build up to the race this weekend, let’s look at his crazy incident that took place during the 2015 Russian Grand Prix, wherein a brave/crazy martial ran onto the race track to remove debris.
While the move seemed brave to Sebastian Vettel and FOM, fans thought it to be the opposite, as the marshal running onto the track could have caused a serious accident.

Now, a few fans commented on the video, emphasising on the fact that marshals shouldn’t be allowed to do such kind of stuff, as it could result in large scale accidents on the race track.
He may look brave but he’s very very stupid, as an ex track marshal I know self preservation comes first.

“That was not a smart thing to do at all. Just look back at what happened in ‘77 Grand Prix in S Africa to understand why. Couple of marshals running across track resulted in one of the most horrific accidents in F1. F1 should ban marshals on track unless cleared by race control.” a fan commented.
Not brave, pointless.
The debris rolled, so almost certainly shed many splinters. Tyre-puncturing slivers. The track around will still need sweeping, which is SC at least, if not end-of-session.
