Imad Wasim gives comical reply to Pakistani reporter when asked to comment on his marriage plans in the near future

It was poor 2019 World Cup campaign for the Pakistan Cricket Team, as they agonisingly finished fifth in the points table to be denied a semi-final ticket. Yet, the entire team as a unit would be a tad proud with the way they bounced back in the tournament, especially after all the abuses and destructive criticisms they were subject to post their loss against India.

However, the Pakistan team has arrived back home, with their skipper Sarfaraz Ahmed and a few other players attending Press conferences and various media briefings.

While there were questions asked by reporters on the World Cup campaign, a few of them were also related to their personal lives. One such was thrown at the Pakistani all-rounder Imad Wasim, as he was questioned about the speculations of his marriage plans.

What did Imad Wasim comment?

One of the reporters inquired Wasim whether the speculations pertaining his marriage in the near future is true or not. Leg-spinner Shadab Khan, who was sitting right next to him, blushed in embarrassment upon hearing the question.

Imad, on the other hand, told the reporter that he would for sure send an invitation whenever the dates are fixed to him. Yet another reporter quickly interrupted him and asked- ‘Only him or all of us?’

Imad, in a shy manner, amongst the outburst of laughter, responded in an obvious affirmation that he’d invite everybody, and even if he doesn’t, all of them will arrive and gatecrash anyway!

“Sabko hi bhej dunga yaar! Na bhi bhejo te tusi aa jaoge” (I’ll send it (invitation) to everybody. Even if I don’t, you’ll would arrive anyway), responded Imad.

He also answered to the allegations of groupism in the team, which was allegedly led by him and fast bowler Mohammad Amir since the commencement of the World Cup. Clearing the mist, Imad responded that had it been the case, he would have not even played in the World Cup. And even advised the media to be more careful while reporting such news.
