Ishant Sharma dismisses Aaron Finch

Ishant Sharma dismisses Aaron Finch: The Indian pacer was seen rattling the stumps of Australian opening batsman.

During the second day of the first Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Adelaide, India fast bowler Ishant Sharma provided his team with an apt start by dismissing Australia opening batsman Aaron Finch in the first over itself.

Taking the new ball for India, it took Sharma a mere three deliveries to draw the first blood into the Australian batting line-up. It all happened on the third delivery of the Australian innings when Finch’s attempt to play a drive saw him inside edging the ball to his stumps.

With the ball rattling Finch’s off and leg stump, the dismissal came as a delight for the bowler. Other than the bowler, India captain Virat Kohli was seen celebrating his heart out for his needed the early breakthrough.

Having posted a below par 250 runs on the board, India required a dismissal such as this to set the rhythm up for them. In which is the first innings of the series for the bowlers, it is necessary for them to come good first up.

Resuming the day at 250-9, it took Josh Hazlewood just one delivery to dismiss India pacer Mohammad Shami as he gloved a rank short delivery to Australia captain and wicket-keeper Tim Paine.
