During the third day of the third Test of the ongoing India’s tour of Australia at Melbourne, India fast bowler Jasprit Bumrah bowled a slower one which found Australia middle-order batsman Shaun Marsh wanting in front of the stumps.
It happened on the final delivery of the 33rd over when Bumrah, bowling from around the wicket, bowled a change-up delivery which completely deceived the batsman. Marsh, who was perhaps expecting another quicker delivery from the bowler, seemed to have no answer whatsoever.

With the ball hitting Marsh’s front pad on the full and the Indians appealing in unison, umpire Ian Gould didn’t hesitate to raise his finger immediately. Marsh, who came in to bat at No. 4, ended up scoring 19 (61) with the help of one four.
Having bagged his second wicket since morning, Bumrah once again proved as to why he is so crucial in this Indian bowling attack. With Marsh becoming the fourth Australian wicket to fall, his departure made things all the more difficult for them.
Earlier, Bumrah dismissed opening batsman Marcus Harris (22) in the first hour of the day. Having dismissed Marsh on the last ball before lunch, Bumrah came back to castle Travis Head’s (20) stumps a few overs into the second session.
