It all happened during the 44th over of the Australian innings. Australian former skipper- Steve Smith was on course for yet another century in ODIs. But, Lasith Malinga had other plans.
In the third delivery of the over, Malinga decided to go for his ever popular stock delivery- the toe-crushing yorker to Australia’s second best batsman so far in the innings. Bowling from around the wicket, Slinga Malinga bowled a brilliant delivery that hit the base of the off-stump.
The batsman- Steve Smith was looking to flick the ball towards perhaps the mid-wicket region only to hand him a disappointed look on his face. Steve Smith eventually walked back with a fine knock of 73 off 59 deliveries, with the help of 7 fours and 1 six.
Without seeming to have a mystery ball, or express pace, or a Malinga yorker, Shane Watson is one of the bowlers of the IPL.

This was pure class from the veteran fast bowler, as he proved yet again that he cannot be written-off as yet, despite on verge of the closing stages of his International career.
Australia finish strong
Despite the quality of the dismissal, Australia finished on a high, posting 334/7 off their 50 overs. Skipper Aaron Finch was in top-notch form as he scored a brilliant 153 off 132 balls, with the assistance of 15 fours and 5 mammoth sixes.
The Sri Lankan bowling unit looked of-colour throughout the innings. However, all-rounder Dhananjaya de Silva and left-arm pacer Isuru Udana picked up 2 wickets apiece.
