WATCH: MS Dhoni turns into Santa Claus after India’s T20 series win
It was a night to remember for Rohit Sharma who registered his first T20 series win as captain, whitewashing Sri Lanka in emphatic fashion at the Wankhede.
MS Dhoni and his love affair with Wankhede continued, as he struck a boundary to take India home in what turned out to be a rather tricky chase.
Sri Lanka had put on 135 on the board, on a pitch that seemed to have next to no demons. The batsmen kept throwing away their wickets, and India were left with a rather below par score to chase.
But the Indians too couldn’t quite get going in the chase, losing wicket and regular intervals, and then having to wait for the cool head of Dhoni to take them through.
In the post match presentation, MS Dhoni was seen wearing a Santa hat and having fun with his team mates, whilst they took a victory lap around the stadium.
