Indian Premier League defending champions Chennai Super Kings are known are their loyal and ardent fan base. Only the second team to win the IPL title thrice, CSK is one of the most followed IPL franchises in the stadiums and across social media platforms.

Among one of their supporters for the fifth match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League against Delhi Capitals at Delhi was captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni’s daughter Ziva Dhoni. Accompanying her mother Sakshi Dhoni in the stands, Ziva was witnessed cheering for her father from the stands.

The video of Ziva cheering for her father was firstly uploaded on the official Twitter handle of IPL. While it went viral within minutes, another video of the same was uploaded by the official Twitter account of Chennai Super Kings.

After Delhi Capitals captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss and chose to bat, Delhi Capitals ended up scoring a mediocre 147-6 in their allotted quota of 20 overs. Opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan top-scored for his team with his 33rd IPL half-century. The southpaw scored 51 (47) with the help of seven fours. With bowling figures of 4-0-33-3, veteran all-rounder Dwayne Bravo was the highest wicket-taker for Super Kings.

Chasing a 148-run target, Super Kings’ chase was inspired from the quintessential “MS Dhoni School of Chasing Totals”.
