WATCH: Ricciardo hints at not coming to the next two races
Daniel Ricciardo was a frustrated man at the end of the Mexican GP, one that was cut short for him, as he had to pull out of the race during the dying stages because of a problem with his car.
Ricciardo has had 8 DNFs this season(including the one today) and at this point feels hopeless and helpless.
While initially Red Bull did have a few issues with the engine, the last few races, there have been multiple problems with the car as well, and Ricciardo has admitted to being glad that he doesn’t have to deal with more of this now.
In one interview after the race, Ricciardo said that he was glad that Gasly would have to deal with these problems now and not Ricciardo himself. He walked off saying ‘I am done with them’.

In his second explosive interview of the night, Ricciardo has said that he doesn’t really see the point of coming for the next two races, especially racedays(Sundays), as he hasn’t really manage to finish races because of issues with the car.
He then went onto say that he isn’t the kind who are superstitious about such stuff but admitted that the car is cursed and thus he saw no point in coming for the last two races of the season, especially when there is not much he or Red Bull are fighting for at the moment in the driver’s or constructor’s championship.
