Robin Uthappa and Prasidh Krishna troll RCB after they crash out of IPL

Robin Uthappa and Prasidh Krishna take a dig at RCB after they were eliminated from the IPL by saying ‘E Saala Cup Namde’ which means ‘This year Cup is ours’.

Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) is officially out of the tournament after losing the clash against Rajasthan Royals (RR) on Saturday (19th May). Before the inception of the season, the fans were very confident of lifting the trophy this time.

This is the reason that they created a tagline ‘E Saala Cup Namde’ which means ‘This year Cup is ours’. Now the tagline has become irrelevant as the team is officially knocked out of the tournament.

On the other hand, Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) registered a comprehensive victory over the table toppers Sunrises Hyderabad (SRH) on Saturday (19th May) to ensure a spot into the playoffs.

Youngster Prasidh Krishna bowled really well in the end to restrict the opponents to a chasable total. He picked 4 wickets in his spell and leaked only 30 runs. Chirs Lynn along with Robin Uthappa took the team to the target. To their delight, fans witnessed Karthik’s finishing touch in the end.

After the victory, Robin Uthappa took a candid interview of Prasidh Krishna. In the interview, Krishna stated that he is very lucky to play in the IPL. After discussing the team’s situations, they both came to know that RCB is out of the race. So sarcastically they urged RCB fans to support KKR in the upcoming matches as their team is already out of the league.

Both the cricketers also used RCB’s tagline ‘E Saala Cup Namde’ to troll the RCB side indirectly. Both of them looked very confident of winning the title this year.

However, this is not the first time that RCB side has been trolled for their performance. Earlier, former RCB batsman KL Rahul and Karun Nair were spotted trolling RCB after winning a game. Even a restaurant in Bangalore changed the tagline on its bill from ‘E Saala Cup Namde’ to ‘Next Saala Cup Namde’ which means ‘Next year Cup is ours’.
