WATCH: Shikhar Dhawan nails Bottle Cap Challenge; Yuvraj Singh showers praise

Shikhar Dhawan nails Bottle Cap Challenge: The Indian opening batsman has become the latest cricketer to attempt the viral challenge.

Former India all-rounder Yuvraj Singh had recently accumulated a lot of attention after he came up with a new version of the viral Bottle Cap Challenge.

Yuvraj, who posted the video across his social media handles, also saw veteran India off-spinner Harbhajan Singh commenting on his post. The southpaw had nominated Master Blaster Sachin Tendulkar, Universe Boss Chris Gayle, former West Indies captain Brian Lara and India opening batsman Shikhar Dhawan.

Dhawan, who got injured during the recently concluded ICC Cricket World Cup 2019, is in the National Cricket Academy for his recovery process. The 33-year old cricketer has now recovered from his injury and seemed to have attempted Yuvraj’s challenge right away.

“Yuvi Paaji [Yuvraj Singh], here is my #BottleCapChallenge! This is the first time I am picking my bat up after my injury..feels good to be back,” read the caption on Dhawan’s post.

Dhawan’s effort was immediately acknowledged by Yuvraj who didn’t shy way from commenting on the same platform.

With the Indian selectors set to announce the team for the tour of West Indies tomorrow, Dhawan’s position specifically remains under the cloud not because of his form but more due to fitness reasons.

As far as Yuvraj is concerned, he retired from international cricket last month. The 37-year old cricketer will now play for Toronto Nationals in the upcoming season of the Global T20 Canada 2019. If reports are to be believed, Yuvraj will also take part in the Euro T20 Slam.
