WATCH: Virat Kohli gets into heated argument with umpire over Hardik Pandya decision
Virat Kohli was a devastated man last night, wielding his magic wand all alone and ending up on the losing side in what was a rather tame display from the RCB unit.
The bowlers were expected to be taken for a ride as the Wankhede doesn’t really give them a place to hide, but it was the batting unit that was spineless on the day.
Virat Kohli did have a good day on a personal note, scoring 92, but he was constantly flustered in the field, as things were not going as planned.
The biggest incident happened during Mumbai’s first innings when Hardik Pandya was adjudged caught behind by the on field umpire and Pandya straight away went for the review.
The ultra edge did confirm a small murmur as the ball passed the bat, but the third umpire thought differently and overturned the decision.
Kohli was befuddled with the decision and walked up to the on-field umpire to understand the rationale behind the third umpire’s decision.
The duo got into a heated argument with Kohli livid with what had just transpired. And to rub salt in his wounds, Pandya smashed the next ball for a six and ended up getting 17 of 5 balls to take Mumbai well past that 200 mark.

Even after the innings had come to an end, Kohli walked up to the umpire and was in constant discussion regarding the dubious decision.
RCB ultimately ended up losing the game by a huge margin of 46 runs and would now have to get back to the drawing board and figure out a good enough team combination from here on.
