Kohli shares a funny moment

Kohli shares a funny moment: The Indian captain’s sense of humour became a source of laughter for everyone at Kirribilli House.

The Australian Prime Minister Scott Morrison hosting both the Indian and the Australian team at his official residence, the Kirribilli House in Sydney, on New Year’s day saw several hysterical sequences happening.

While some of those moments included India wicket-keeper batsman Rishabh Pant babysitting Australia captain Tim Paine’s kids and Pant sharing a funny moment with the Australian Prime Minister, another video of India captain Virat Kohli making people laugh with his sense of humour is doing the rounds now.

Kohli was invited on the stage to speak on behalf of the Indian team. The 30-year old cricketer was seen in a jocular mood, making everyone burst into laughter. Kohli act was supported by a dog’s bark which made him say, “The dog agrees to be under no pressure going into the deciding Test match as well.”

“If you ask me very honestly, no. Because what is gone is not in our control and what is to come is something that we need to think about. We need to stay in the present and focus on things that we can do the controllable we need to figure out what the controllable are and focus on them,” Kohli spoke about not facing pressure ahead of the Sydney Test.

Kohli added that it is the motive of every team to win in Australia. Not laying enough emphasis of making history, the Indian captain sounded more of crossing a hurdle and believing that the team can win here.

“Every team that comes here wants to win, obviously. So I’m sure that they would have had the same intention but the motivation has never been to change history.

“It’s only been to overcome the challenge that is in front of you, as a sportsman and as a cricketer, you can ask anyone that’s the most important thing, that’s something you look forward to not necessarily proving something to someone or changing history, just crossing a hurdle and making yourself believe that you are good enough to be at this level and beat any team anywhere in the world and that’s the most important thing,” Kohli conluded.
