Watch: Zlatan Ibrahimovic tosses LAFC player after scoring his hattrick

Watch: Zlatan Ibrahimovic tosses LAFC player after scoring his hattrick in the Los Angeles derby. This was the Swede’s second hattrick in the MLS.

Zlatan Ibrahimovic, scored a phenomenal hattrick against Los Angeles FC to hand LA Galaxy a 3-2 victory in their derby. This is the second time he scored a hattrick in the MLS. Celebrations were bound to happen and celebrate he did. Perhaps a little too enthusiastically.

Zlatan received the ball on his left just ahead of the opposition goal. A player as seasoned as him was never going to miss this opportunity. He placed the ball to the keeper’s left and the ball sneaked past the goal keeper to give him his hattrick.

Ibrahimovic then ran with his arms flailing as he rushed to celebrate with his teammates. What Zlatan did not however notice, was that he had accidentally tossed LAFC player Latif Blessing. The huge Swede bulldozed over the 22-year-old who went flying after colliding with the big burly striker. Zlatan though, was too stoked to even notice what had happened as he ran past the Ghanaian.

Blessing would not be the only player to be hurled by Ibrahimovic as the striker then went on to slam one of the opposition coaches with some choice words. The Swede had a lot to prove in this match having compared himself to a Ferrari among Fiats.

He also had a thing or two to prove to a journalist who had earlier claimed that Carlos Vela was the best player in the MLS. Vela scored two goals in the match but the big man outperformed him in all departments. Zlatan, for all his histrionics, is a man who backs his words with deeds and that he did indeed against his Derby rivals.
