Zlatan Ibrahimovic slams a reporter after latter advocates that Carlos Vela might be the best in MLS, contradicting Swedish Forward’s claim.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is known for his narcissist and arrogant behaviour, as the former Swedish International praises about his qualities more than required.
Similarly, The 37-year-old, who currently plays for LA Galaxy, was asked this week whether he considers himself the best player in Major League Soccer.
However, before this question was asked, an ESPN journalist courageous enough decided to read out some impressive stats about Los Angeles striker Carlos Vela.
“You said right now you are the best player in Major League Soccer.” said the reporter. There’s another player in Los Angeles, Carlos Vela. In this moment he’s got 19 goals and 12 assists and his team is leading the MLS.

“Do you still consider yourself the best player in Major League Soccer?”
To this, the 37-year-old striker gave a response in a usual manner, and gave a straight forward answer to the query made by the journalist during the interview.
“By far, because if he’s in his prime. How old is he? Twenty-nine and he’s playing in MLS and he’s in his prime.
“When I was 29 [I was in Europe]. Big difference.”
Although, Ibrahimovic was right with his logic, and was exploiting the European football through his skillful play and goals. At the age of 29 Ibrahimovic was playing in AC Milan, after having a brief stint with Barcelona.
At that time, the 37-year-old striker picked his eight Serie A title, after scoring 14 goals in 29 games before bagging 28 goals in 32 games the following season.
Later, Ibrahimovic had a successful spell at PSG, as he joined the French giants in 2012. Following it, he made his debut with Manchester United for a short spell before joining his current club LA Galaxy.
