Where to watch the Asian Games in India?
The Asian Games are set to begin from August 18 in Jakarta and Palembang. But where can the Indian fans watch the Asian Games?
The 18th edition of the Asian Games is all set to begin from August 18 in Indonesia. Jakarta and Palembang are the two cities which will be hosting the Asian Games this year. The Indian contingent for the tournament has 572 athletes, participating in 45 different sporting events.
Neeraj Chopra, the Indian track-and-field athlete will be the flag bearer of the competition.
The Asian Games is often seen as an important place to test the Indian athletes for the Olympics, as top sporting superpowers like China, South Korea and Japan participate in the tournament.
This year, the Indian squad boasts of the most number of athletes in the age group of 16-23, which is a boosting positive for the country as it aims for Olympic glory in 2020.
But where can the fans watch as Indian athletes enter the field to prove their mettle among top quality opposition at the Asian Games?

In the previous edition of the Asian Games, India finished 8th among 37 countries. India bagged 11 gold medals and a total of 57 medals in the tournament. China topped the medal tally with a staggering 151 gold medals.
