Crowd erupts shouting “SIIIII” when Ronaldo did his trademark celebration against Milan

The crowd roars with Cristiano Ronaldo after he nets his goal against AC Milan. 

Juventus took on AC Milan in the Supercoppa Italia Final on Saturday night at King Abdullah Sports City Stadium. Just when finishing was lamenting throughout the first 60 minutes of the game, Cristiano Ronaldo rose to the occasion to head the ball into the back of the net to give Juventus the lead which was good enough to lift the trophy.

It was a game of two halves, but the Portuguese International’s goal proved to be the decisive factor at the end. With this victory, they took their Supercoppa Italia to eight which is the highest by any other team in the country.

 

When Ronaldo did his trademark celebration after seeing the net bulge, the crowd in Jeddah hollered “Siii”. It was a beautiful sight as many fans came to witness his masterclass and he repaid them by rewarding them with a goal.

Cristiano Ronaldo has had a brilliant start to his Juventus career as he has already scored 16 goals in 26 games this term. He is the leading top scorer of Serie A with 14 goals.

Upon his arrival at Juventus Stadium, the Old Lady’s team value rocketed from 690 million to 1.57 billion in just five months time. With him, they have every chance of lifting the Champions League this year. He has won the Champions League five times which is the most by any player in the history of football.

After the game, Ronaldo was delighted to win a silverware early on in this year to gain more confidence as the intense part of the season kicks off for Juventus. They are currently first in the Serie A table, nine points ahead of Napoli and will face Atletico Madrid in the Champions League Round of 16.

Speaking in an interview after the game, Ronaldo said that the climatic conditions did not favour him that much “It was a very difficult match, it’s very warm and hard to play in these conditions,” he said.

“It was my intention to start 2019 with a trophy, I have my first title with Juve and I am very happy.

“It is only the start, we take it one step at a time. We’ve got this cup, now we must keep working hard to achieve the next trophy.

“Serie A is always Juve’s principal objective, we are top of the table, but it’s a very long competition and it’s going to be tough, so we need to keep working.”

When Ronaldo scored his first goal, whole Juventus stadium erupted in joy to shout “Siiii”.

Juventus will now take on Chievo Verona in the Serie A on Monday night as they try to take yet another step towards their eight successive Italian top flight league success.
