Wilfried Zaha goal Vs Chelsea: Was Kepa at fault or Zaha's brilliance made it unstoppable?

Wilfried Zaha goal Vs Chelsea: Crystal Palace star shot a thunderous strike to earn a goal against Chelsea, was it stoppable for Kepa?

Chelsea had a good start against Crystal Palace in the Premier League game after the Blues scored two goals in quick succession. It seemed that Chelsea is on the verge of safeguarding the match.

However, a thunderous strike by Wilfried Zaha changed the course of the match. The Ivorian International marched towards Chelsea’s goal when he saw the right spot to take a shot.

The ball went at supreme pact and bounced inside Chelsea’s goal while swerving in between to make it even tougher for Kepa Arrizabalaga to keep it out of the goal, even though the ball was at the central position.

With this, the course of the game changed as Chelsea is now under the threat of losing their lead just like they did against West ham before losing by 3-2 in their last Premier League encounter.

It will be another embarrassment for Chelsea if just in case lose this match as the Eagles haven’t scored more than 2 goals in the league this season so far.

Was Kepa at fault or brilliance had better of it?

Honestly, even though the shot viewed to be central, the goal was at an unstoppable speed, and most of the keepers would not have been able to stop it.

Moreover, the swerve the ball received made it even more tricky, hence it would be incorrect to say that Kepa made an error, while he just got defeated against the brilliance, he could have done better is another debate.

Apart from that, it feels that even if he had managed to touch the ball, probably the ball still would have gone inside considering the crossbar had it let in.
