Andrade wants AAA Mega Championship match at Triplemania, Kenny Omega responds
Kenny Omega is currently the World Champion of three promotions simultaenously. Apart from the AAA Mega Championship, he is also in possesion of AEW and Impact’s World Championship titles. While Omega is quick to lobby for title matches, he doesn’t seem very eager to defend them. He wrote on Twitter:
“I’m a busy guy, give me some time to think about it.”

It will be interesting to see if Andrade has the patience for Omega’s shenanigans or will he take matters in his hand.
Omega beat Fenix at Héroes Inmortales XIII all the way back in 2019 to win the AAA Mega Championship. He has since defended the title 4 times with his last defence occuring at Triplemanía XXVIII on December 12, 2020 against Laredo Kid.
He has held the title for 562+ days and is currently nearing the record of longest AAA Mega Championship reign, which stands at 735 days by El Texano Jr. No date or location has been announced for Triplemaniaso far. Can Omega overtake El Texano Jr. or will scheduling and Andrade stop him? Only time will tell.
