Erick Rowan broke down while honoring Brodie Lee at AEW. The former Wyatt Family member was at the tribute show for his former partner.

The most amazing part of the night so far however, has been Erick Rowan making a surprise appearance on the show. He helped John Silver, Alex Reynolds and Hangman Page to a win over the team of MJF, Santana and Ortiz.

The heels got an upperhand following some underhanded tactics before the former Wyatt Family member helped level the field. Jericho could be heard screaming Rowan and Bludgeon Brothers, acknowledging Rowan’s time with Lee in the WWE.

Rowan then joined Silver, Reynolds and Hangman to celebrate the win before tearing up and holding up a sign that read “Goodbye for now my brother, See you down the road.”

It is not known if this is a one-off or if he’s signed with them long term. However, it was a heart warming appearance and fans will be glad that it happened.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
