SmackDown top heel babyface

Roman Reigns is one of the longest-reigning WWE Champions in the history of WWE. His World Title reign is certainly unprecedented in the modern era. This makes him a tough act to follow. While The Tribal Chief’s legendary reign has cast a pall on some fans, WWE is seemingly planning to keep his title reign intact for longer. A new report indicates that WWE wants Roman Reigns to walk out of SummerSlam as Champion.

Without a doubt, Cody Rhodes’ loss at WrestleMania 39 confounded the WWE Universe. Although the fans are clamoring to see Rhodes start where he left off with Reigns, their rematch is unlikely to occur.

In addition, both superstars are on separate brands. Moreover, it was earlier reported that Triple H is planning to have Roman Reigns Vs Cody Rhodes II take place at next year’s WrestleMania.

Roman Reigns is reportedly going to walk out of SummerSlam as the Champion

According to The Wrestling Blog, the current internal plan of the WWE management is to have Roman Reigns keep his World Title reign intact at SummerSlam. While there is still a lot of time for SummerSlam, Roman Reigns is likelier to continue his reign as the WWE Undisputed Universal Champion.

“I’m hearing from one of my sources the current plan as of right now of management is Roman reigns walking out of summer slam as champion.”

Earlier this year, several reports claimed that Triple H was aiming to clear out Vince McMahon’s “final mess”. McMahon’s final mess was referred to as the unification of the World Titles.

Triple H reportedly had a plan in place to have Roman Reigns drop the WWE Championship. However, now that WWE has created another World Championship to represent Raw, the end of Roman Reigns’ title reign seems to be far from over.

The Head of the Table is not going to compete in Puerto Rico at Backlash. However, the 37-year-old will compete at the Night of Champions Premium Live Event.

As it stands, WWE hasn’t found a worthy opponent to challenge Roman Reigns. According to reports. AJ Styles was recently rumored to be the next challenger. But a new report poured cold water on that fantasy.

Triple H is reportedly “not even close” to booking AJ Styles as Roman Reigns’ next challenger

Triple seems to have something different in mind for Roman Reigns. After AJ Styles made his return from an injury, he was drafted to SmackDown with the OC. Styles then made rounds as Roman Reigns’ rumored opponent for Night of Champions.

However, Ringside News reports that Triple H is “not even close” to booking them for Night of Champions. With Styles reportedly out of the picture, we will have to wait and see who poses a threat to Roman Reigns’ throne at Night of Champions.

“A story is going around that AJ Styles is going to face Roman Reigns next for his titles. We reached out to confirm that story, but we were told that is not the case at all. Roman Reigns vs AJ Styles is ‘not even close to an accurate guess’ for the Head of the Table’s next opponent. That should squash a few of the rumors going around right now.”
