Mysterio, who was recently inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame, addressed the long-standing rumor during an appearance on Logan Paul’s Impaulsive Podcast.
Did Rey Mysterio really date Jennifer Aniston in 1997?
During his appearance on his podcast, Logan Paul brought up the popular rumor and jokingly asked how long they dated. Mysterio, clearly joking as well, answered, “About a week.”
He then added that there was no truth to the story, claiming that “They just threw it out there.”

For the unaware, dating rumors between Jennifer Aniston and Rey Mysterio emerged post a story written in the National Enquirer magazine back in 1997.
The story claimed that Aniston and Mysterio were fans of each other and became good friends after she attended four of his wrestling matches.
“She told me she loves my wrestling,” The outlet quoted Rey Mysterio as saying.
The story also added that despite never removing his mask, Mysterio allowed the popular actress to see him without it during one of their meet ups.
“I’ve never done that for any of my fans. She really got a kick out of it. We talked for some time and exchanged home phone numbers,” the outlet quoted Mysterio.
Mysterio has previously talked about this rumor in his book, Behind the Mask.
“I have no idea what that was about or where it came from. Maybe somebody wanted to get my name out there and started the rumor,” he wrote. ” I thought it was funny. I even showed the story to my wife — best coming from me, no? ”
According to Dave Meltzer, the only reason this story was put out was to get Mysterio over.
“There’s absolutely nothing to that one. It was just an attempt, which succeeded, to get Mistero Jr. some pub since WCW wants to push him big-time,” Meltzer wrote.
