The WWE Champion addressed the fans earlier in the night regarding him testing positive for Covid-19. He urged them to wear their masks and practice social distancing. There was no mention of Goldberg then. A little while later though, the WWE dropped a second video.

McIntyre spoke about how Goldberg interrupted him last week before he had a chance to thank the legends who had appeared on the show. Interestingly, Goldberg accused him of being disrespectful to the legends before he challenged McIntyre.

McIntyre spoke about how you should never meet your heroes and how Goldberg had let his legacy down. He taunted Goldberg for never winning the WWE Championship before accepting his challenge for the championship at Royal Rumble.

McIntyre may have tested positive for Coronavirus. Fortunately for him though, he is asymptomatic. This is good news for both him and the WWE, who are clearly desperate to have this match on their January 31st PPV card.

It is a little concerning though, that the WWE have brought up Goldberg’s failure to win the WWE Championship. A program between the two is fine. Not a lot of fans will likely be thrilled with the prospect of another meaningless and short Goldberg title run. Most fans however, will not mind an explosive short match reminiscent of Goldberg vs Brock Lesnar at 2017’s Wrestlemania.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
