Former WWE Superstar AJ Lee unveils new Wonder Woman comic she wrote. Her work has featured on the 80th Anniversary Wonder Woman collection.

Sure, Dave Batista and soon John Cena will have featured in superhero movies. How many of them though can claim to have written one? That’s right, former WWE Divas Champion AJ Lee is the only person affiliated to wrestling who can  stake a claim to that honor.

She took to twitter today to reveal that she had written a story for Wonder Woman. She thanked the entire team that helped her put everything together. CM Punk also shared the news and encouraged the fans to read the latest line of comics dropped as part of the 80th Anniversary Wonder Woman collection.

AJ Lee wrote:

“I wrote a Wonder Woman story for @DCComics’ 80th Anniversary anthology, beautifully illustrated by @mingdoyle! So many great stories in here by Becky Cloonan, Amy Reeder, Nadia Shammas & Morgan Beem, John Arcudi & Ryan Sook. Available now!”


Her husband, CM Punk, also tweeted the following:

“It’s new comic day! If you venture to your local comic shop, make sure you check out the @DCComics 80th anniversary Wonder Woman anthology! It’s got a story written by a Wonder Woman I know: @TheAJMendez!”
