Vince McMahon directs WWE stars to practice more caution to avoid Covid-19 risks. The Patriarch was reportedly set off by a particular incident.
Several sports federations around the world closed their doors during the early days of the pandemic last year. The WWE was among the few, that carried on with their programming. This led to many believing that the company did not care for the crisis that surrounded them.
Kevin Nash would later defend the WWE. He said that the company had a lot of faults, but a lack of precaution was not one of them. It seems that the founding member of NWA wasn’t just bigging up his former company. Vince McMahon is reportedly taking the risks very seriously and wants his wrestlers to share the same concern.
Vince McMahon directs WWE stars to practice more caution to avoid Covid-19 risks
According to Fightful Select, Vince McMahon, through several messages about the subject, has stressed the importance of precautions from the risks of Covid-19. Despite his directive however, a particular incident invoving actions that were the opposite of what he asked, set the 75 year old off.
“There was a particular incident of a wrestler or staff member at amusement parks unmasked weeks back that set Vince McMahon off after he had made it clear he wanted wrestlers taking more precautions as a result of COVID-19 risks.”
The instructions are clear for everyone working for him, including the staffers too. Failure to follow orders has resulted in one losing their spot.
“There have also been instances of staffers having their responsibilities reduced after photos of them emerged out and about without masks.”
