Huge plans in store for Damian Priest in the WWE

According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE are hoping that Damien Priest’s association with Bad Bunny will help him become a fan favourite among the Latino community.

“The idea is Priest will get the rub in the Latino community in particular of being Bunny’s tag team partner.” The report read.

With Wrestlemania season around, there is speculation that Priest will team up with Bad Bunny to take on Miz and Morrison at the Grandest stage of all. The WWE like to feature their celebrities on their big 4 shows and with the WWE set to allow fans to attend the event, there is more than a passing chance that this is where they are headed.

This is a much better plan than the one they originally had in store for Priest. The WWE initially planned to debut him on SmackDown as Kevin Owens’ best friend. The idea was ruled out by Owens himself. He claimed that it made no sense and Roman Reigns seconded it.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
