After WrestleMania 39, Roman Reigns was visibly disappointed in The Usos due to their Tag Team Title loss. The latest edition of SmackDown saw an infuriated Tribal Chief holding court in Knoxville. During the segment, Roman Reigns berated his Samoan brothers, The Usos, for failing him. After telling Usos to apologize, Roman Reigns disdainfully shoved Jimmy Usos to the corner. While The Usos thought they’d get the chance to redeem themselves, Paul Heyman announced that Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa would compete at Night Of Champions for the Tag Team gold. By the looks of it, The Usos have completely fallen out of the good graces of Roman Reigns.
As announced by WWE, Sami Zayn & Kevin Owens would defend their WWE Undisputed Tag Team Championships against Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Roman also stated that he dedicates the match to the legendary Wild Samoans.
Fans react to Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa challenging Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens at Night of Champions
Traditionally, all Championship titles are put at stake at Night of Champions. However, Roman Reigns is seemingly not going to defend his WWE Undisputed Universal Championship due to the lack of a worthy challenger. The WWE Universe has interesting responses to the ongoing drama.
“Just give Roman all the belts”

Worked for Kurt in TNA

A fan hilariously tweeted stating that at this point, WWE may as well make Roman Reigns hold all Championships in the company. Another fan responded by pointing out that it worked for Kurt Angle in TNA.
“The Future IS COMING!!!! Roman 4 Belts Reigns”

Another fan Tweeted a picture of Roman Reigns holding all four Championships. At the rate Roman Reigns is going, it’s inevitable that he adorns himself with the Undisputed Tag Team Titles.
“Absolutely Ridiculous”
Absolutely ridiculous that Roman didn’t have to defend the titles at Backlash and won’t be defending them at Clash of Champions either. There needs to be title matches on #wwesmackdown then. Split the titles up. He should be having a match every week. This reign means nothing.

While some fans continue to acknowledge the Tribal Chief, others find his perpetual title reigns insufferable. A fan was conspicuously baffled by the announcement.
He urged WWE to have Roman Reigns defend his titles to add meaning to his Championship reigns. The fan also expressed his disbelief over Roman Reigns not being scheduled to defend his World Titles at Night Of Champions.
“Night of Champions every title is supposed to be defended”
Night of champions every title is supposed to be defended But nooooo Roman don’t need to defend his title as the PLE that is supposed to be every championship on the line 🤦♂️🤦♂️ instead going for the tag belts 🤷♂️🤷♂️

Yes! Another fan pointed out the obvious. Instead of defending the World Titles, Roman Reigns is competing to bring the Undisputed Tag Team Championships to the Island of Relevancy.
“Roman is gonna hit 1000 days as Champion and not even defend it”
Roman is gonna hit 1000 days as champion and not even defend it on a PPV called “ Night of CHAMPIONS”
And Sami and KO has to work in Saudi Arabia

WWE is having Roman Reigns celebrate his legendary reign at Night of Champions without having him defend it is not sitting well with a lot of fans like this one. To be fair, WWE could have made the night greater by having Roman showcase his greatness in a match.
Sami Zayn is set to appear in Saudi Arabia for the first time ever
Due to his Syrian heritage, Sami Zayn has pulled himself back from partaking in events in Saudi Arabia. However, Night of Champions will mark his first-ever show in Saudi Arabia. In addition, Kevin Owens will also do his first show in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In 2019, Owens refused to compete at Super ShowDown in Saudi Arabia. His refusal was seemingly because of his friendship with Sami Zayn.
I was NOT expecting to see Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens working the Saudi Arabia show and I sure as hell didn’t have Roman Reigns challenging for the tag titles. pic.twitter.com/sQDpOpCjGW
