Karrion Kross vs Finn Balor rematch for NXT Championship announced

Their match will take place on May 25th,  two weeks from now. This will be a rematch from their clash at NXT TakeOver: Stand and Deliver. The two battled an exceptionally physical match during the event. Balor gave it his all. Unfortunately, he wasn’t unable to stop Kross from becoming a two time NXT Champion.

The Prince will hope to become the first ever three time NXT Champion. He currently shares the record with Samoa Joe, Shinsuke Nakamuraand Kross himself. Kross, who is yet to defend the title, having had to relinquish it four days after winning it the first time, will look to hold on to the title a little longer this time around.

It will be interesting to see if this sets up an encounter at the upcoming NXT TakeOver: In Your House event scheduled next month or will this be the end of the chapter involving both athletes.
