WWE India recently posted a tweet comparing them to Two dudes with Attitudes (Shawn Michaels and Kevin Nash) and Styles commented on it during his appearance on the latest edition of WWE’s The Bump. “If we’re gonna compare, I think that’s a pretty good comparison. Is it the exact? No, no, no. Listen, we’re so much more than Kevin Nash and Shawn Michaels were. We’re more than that. We are the RAW Tag Team Champions, sky is the limit. Whatever championship we want, we will get.”

During the same interview, Styles explained that the reason why they haven’t been on TV since Mania is because they’ve been partying in Nigeria with Omos’ friends and family.

“I mean even Vince McMahon couldn’t tell us now when we [said], ‘Hey, we need your jet. We’re going to Nigeria.’ You know what he said? ‘Um, sure, ’cause you’re the tag team champions.’ We’re unstoppable.”

Speaking about the match, Omos spoke about the reception he got from the fans and how he would never forget the moment for the rest of his life.

“I’ll never forget that moment for the rest of my life. It is forever immortalized in my brain and the fact that on my debut we had the fans back and being able to feel that energy from the audience was electrifying.”

“I have goosebumps speaking about it right now. I will never forget that moment for the rest of my life.”

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
