Mandy Rose comes out victorious against long time friend Sonya Deville in Loser Leaves match. She will now be off WWE Television.

Sonya Deville has to bid goodbye to the WWE after losing to former friend and tag team partner Mandy Rose in their match at SummerSlam. The two were originally scheduled to face each other in hair vs hair match. However, the stipulation changed on the final episode of SmackDown.

Mandy attempted to convince her friend to call off the match. Deville however, decided to up the ante instead and changed their match into a no disqualification loser leaves match.

In truth, the result of the match was set in stone the moment the stipulation changed. It was obvious that this was the WWE’s way of writing Sonya Deville out of future storylines following the recent abduction attempt on her.

Their match was far from perfect but no one could blame them. This was not a technical masterpiece. Instead, it was two women who just wanted to take the other to hell. There was a lot of striking which made it seem that the two genuinely wanted to hurt each other.

True to form, the match came to an end with Rose delivering multiple Running Knees, 3 to be precise, the Bed of Roses double-underhook facebuster, and a fourth knee to pin Deville.

Daville will now have the time to come to terms with the events that have just occurred and the aftermath of it. Hopefully, when the time is right, she will come back to the WWE someday. As far as Rose is concerned, it will be interesting to see her progress in the Women’s division with Deville who has always by her side or against.
