Whoever follows Dwayne Johnson on social media, knows he follows a strict day-to-day routine. The Hollywood Megastar wakes up at 3:30 am, hits the gym, and then heads out to do his job. In fact, nothing can keep him away from doing his work. And if something dares to do so, he will destroy that with his bare hands. It’s a fact that he proved to everyone a few years ago. Believe it or not, Dwayne Johnson once ripped down his front gate to go to work on time.
The incident took place in 2020 when The Great One was shooting for his DC superhero movie Black Adam. He had to go for the shoot but due to severe storms, there was a power outage. And because he wasn’t able to open his front gate, he did what he had to do.
Dwayne Johnson, with his bare hands, ripped down his high-security front gate
Sharing the unfortunate moment with fans through Instagram, The Great One stated that wasn’t his finest hour. But the unexpected power outage wasn’t letting his front gate open.
At first, Dwayne Johnson tried a couple of alternate ways to solve his problem. He attempted to open the gates by overriding the hydraulic system. Usually, that used to work but that day, it didn’t.
After that, The Great One made some calls to get the gate technicians on site. Unfortunately, there need at least 45 minutes to get to the place. So, the former wrestler did what he could to get to work on time.
Dwayne Johnson pushed, pulled, and ripped down the gate completely off all by himself. He toured the high-security gate out of the brick wall, sliced off the steel hydraulics, and tossed it on the grass.
In his caption, Dwayne Johnson admitted he wasn’t proud that he ripped out his own gate. However, he could let hundreds of his Black Adam production crew members wait for him. Meanwhile, his security team, who after an hour, got everything fixed, was in disbelief and at the same, scared.
He wrote:
“Not my finest hour but a man’s gotta go to work.
We experienced a power outage due to severe storms, causing my front gate not to open.
Made some calls to see how fast I can get the gate tech on site, but I didn’t have 45min to wait.
By this time, I know I have hundreds of production crew members waiting for me to come to work so we can start our day.
So I did what I had to do.
I pushed, pulled and ripped the gate completely off myself.
Tore it out of the brick wall, severed the steel hydraulics and threw it on the grass.”

Well, the kind of physique Dwayne Johnson possesses, no one would be surprised that he single-handedly ripped down the gate. However, it was unfortunate that he had no other choice than to use his brutal strength there.
The Great One hasn’t showcased his strength in the WWE ring for over a decade now
Fans of Dwane Johnson the actor are pleased because they get to see their star on the big from time to time. However, when it comes to the WWE ring, the wait has been going on for over a decade. Wrestling fans haven’t seen The Rock in a proper one-on-one match since WrestleMania 29.
Even though he has made a few appearances after that, they either were cameos or just a short match. As a matter of fact, the last time Johnson wrestled a proper singles match was long ago in 2013. It was when he ended his year-long rivalry with John Cena.
