Pat McAfee assaults Adam Cole and gets kicked out of the Arena

Pat McAfee assaults Adam Cole and gets kicked out of the Arena to close out NXT. The rivalry between the two is far from over.

Everyone saw this coming from a mile away. It was no less entertaining still. Pat McAfee’s appearance on the show had been played out before and for much of the show. It was evident that he was there for his angle with Adam Cole to continue and did they hit the mark with the execution.

Despite both parties claiming that they had made up, McAfee continued to run the former NXT Champion down on commentary during the Undisputed Era’s Tag Team title match against Imperium. Adam Cole who was there with Roderick Strong to accompany Kyle O’Reilly and Bobby Fish, kept staring at staring at the announce table before losing his cool.

An incensed Cole finally confronted McAfee. The guest commentator told Cole he was just joking before calling him an angry little elf. Cole then threw water at McAfee and asked him to do something about it. Shawn Michaels and Triple H soon walked out to separate the two.

Their shouting match however, distracted his faction mates who would go on to lose their match. While the Imperium celebrated their victory, the focus was on the spat between Cole and McAfee who told the UE leader that he will always be “teeny, tiny little bitch”.

Cole tried to break free and have a go at the former NFL punter. McAfee instead took advantage of the situation hit him with a punt to the head. Triple H then tossed McAfee out of the arena while the guest continued to antagonise everyone on his way out.

This seems to be setting up a face turn for Adam Cole with Pat McAfee in the storyline. It would also be interesting to see if the rest of the faction turn with him. They could also instead, have a problem with their leader costing them the tag titles because of his personal squabble.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
