So how did they fare this time? Well, this one is hard to answer. They performed just as bad if not worse than the last two occasions they met and at the same time, this was arguably their best match against each other.
This was not a wrestling match. Not at all. Instead, it was two men looking to kill each other on live television and in the end it was Orton who came out on top burning Wyatt’s carcass to a char to close out the final pay per view of the year.

There was very little in terms of technical wrestling. Inferno matches are already very different from traditional matches. Add a psychopath and a revenge thirsty monster to the mix and you have the perfect recipe for mayhem. You either hated or loved this match there was no in-between.
There were several cool spots in the match such as when Wyatt grabbed a belt and lit it on fire before attempting to smash Orton with it. The other was when Wyatt doused a rocking chair with gasoline and sat Orton on it. The Viper escaped the fire by moving out of its way at the very last second.

The match ended after Orton found a way to reverse the Mandible claw and push Wyatt into the flames. With flames on his body, Wyatt charged at Orton but the Viper quickly landed an RKO to lay his nemesis down.
He doused his fallen opponent with gasoline and burned him down while the announcers begged him to stop. Orton had a maniacal smile as the show closed to a cool visual of Wyatt in fire while flames shot across the arena.
