Real reason why Becky Lynch did not return at Wrestlemania 37

According to Dave Melzter in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE wanted to book Lynch for Wrestlemania 37 but chose not to because they were waiting for her to sign a new contract, which is now said to be in effect.

They also did not want to rush her return and wanted to make sure that everything was right for her comeback.

“Expect a return of Becky Lynch relatively soon. She’s been training at the Performance Center and was at the Hell in a Cell show. Lynch wasn’t used at WrestleMania as first talked about and teased by her because they were waiting for her to sign a new deal, which is now in effect, and because they felt it was too early to debut her before she would be back wrestling.”

According to recent reports, Becky Lynch was spotted at the Performance Center training for her in-ring return. Lynch’s return is likely to concide with WWE’s return to touring. They would after all, want this moment to take place in front of cheering fans.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
