Roman Reigns & Jey Uso

Things between Roman Reigns and Jey Uso haven’t been the same since the main event of this year’s Royal Rumble. Although it was Sami Zayn who betrayed The Bloodline, Jey seemed unhappy with the way things were handled. More salt was added to the wounds when the Twin Brothers lost their undisputed titles at WrestleMania 39. The Tribal Chief now sees Jimmy and Jey as more of a problem that might need fixing.

Well, that’s what happens between the Samoan Brothers only on WWE TV. Offscreen, Jey Uso and Roman Reigns are just like any other cousins, about which the latter opened up last month. Speaking to the Los Angeles Times, The Tribal Chief talked about a lot of personal and professional stuff.

Roman Reigns feels Jey Uso is the most layered character in The Bloodline

During the conversation, Roman Reigns shared how Jey Uso is the reason behind his ‘Acknowledge Me’ catchphrase. The Tribal Chief noted how just like all the greats, he was looking for an opener. It was the time when he was feuding with his cousin in 2020.

At that year’s Hell In A Cell, Roman Reigns defeated Jey Uso in an “I Quit” match. After the match, The Tribal Chief was yelling ‘Acknowledge Me’ which is when he decided to make it his opener. He then also shed light on the qualities of all the members of his Bloodline faction.

About Jey Uso, Roman Reigns stated he is the “most charismatic” person in the group. In fact, he feels “Main Event Jey Uso” possesses more potential than any of them.

However, just like most twins, The Usos also have and believe in hierarchy. Jimmy is the elder one which gives Jey layered insecurities and that little man syndrome.

Because Jimmy Uso and Roman Reigns always manage to knock him down, Jey Uso carries a big of proving himself on his shoulders. Which is why, he is the most layered character in The Bloodline according to The Tribal Chief.

“Jey [Uso] is the most charismatic of the group… has more potential than all of us. What people often don’t understand about most twins is, they do have a hierarchy… Jimmy really is the older brother. So with Jey, there comes those weird, layered insecurities and that little man syndrome… That’s why he carries such a big chip on his shoulder and why he is one of the more layered characters of the Bloodline.”

WWE recently announced that the entire Bloodline is going to stay on the blue brand

There were rumors that The Bloodline might split as a result of the WWE Draft 2023. In fact, when Roman Reigns, Solo, and Heyman were then only ones announced as the first pick, fans believed The Usos would go to Monday Night RAW.

However, on this week’s edition of the red brand, WWE announced that the Twin Brothers will stay on SmackDown Live. Though the path for them might still not be as clear as it appears.

Last week on SmackDown, they failed to capture the undisputed tag team gold from Sami Zayn and Kevin Owens. It will be interesting to see how The Tribal Chief reacts to their failure. However, for fans, it means The Bloodline Saga continues.
