Eric Bischoff comments on WWE removing title counts from Charlotte Flair’s record

Eric Bischoff comments on WWE removing title counts from Charlotte Flair’s record. The Queen’s official count was brought down to 11 from 14.

Charlotte has the most championships out of any woman that has ever performed in the WWE. She has won the NXT Women’s Championship twice, Divas Championship once and the RAW and SmackDown Women’s Championship five times each.

Counting her run with the Women’s Tag Team Championships, she has amassed 14 championships in the WWE of which 13 are world titles. However, the WWE have decided not to count her NXT titles, which means she has 11 titles on her record instead.

Speaking on “For The Heat,” Eric Bischoff claimed that this was good news for Charlotte Flair because it meant that she would now have more title wins to reach the elusive 16th title reign and will thus stay on top for a little while longer than she would have had the WWE kept her title count as is.

“Well, I get that, though. I get it a lot. And if I’m Charlotte Flair, I’m smiling all the way to the Bank. (Do) you know what I mean? (laughs). Talk about job security. If somebody makes the conscious decision, ‘Oh you know, she is already at 14. We’ve got a couple more before we hit 16. How can we make more money doing that?’ Ha, ha! I like that! If I’m Charlotte Flair’s money-manager, I am smiling. That’s good news for her.”

Charlotte Flair will face Nikki Ash and Rhea Ripley in a triple threat match for the RAW Women’s Championship at SummerSlam.

SummerSlam 2021 will take place on August 21, 2021, at Allegiant Stadium in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada. It will be the 34th event under the SummerSlam chronology. It will also be the first to take place on a Saturday since the 1992 event; although it will be the first to air live on a Saturday.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
