WWE gears for a huge shocking title change. There is a considerable amount of speculation about a possible title change soon.
This year’s Wrestlemania saw a few major changes at the top of the card. Both the World Champions, Goldberg and Brock Lesnar failed to defend their titles, in the process, both Drew McIntyre and Braun Strawman were handed their maiden World Title reigns.

It appears however, that the WWE is willing to insert a new name in the main event picture. A run, that could very likely result in yet another World Champion just a few months away from Wrestlemania but before SummerSlam.
WWE gears for a huge shocking title change
According to the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the WWE is keen on pushing Bobby Lashley as a serious heel. The report adds that he was paired with MVP to set him on course for a possible world championship reign.
“As it was noted in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter, the reason why Bobby Lashley has MVP as his manager is that Paul Heyman wanted to give him a mouthpiece for a title run.” (h/t WrestlingNews.co).
Drew McIntyre is currently the company’s top babyface. However, there is a severe dearth of top heels. Lashley however, of late, has been presented as a no-nonsense heel. In the absence of Brock Lesnar, Lashley could very well become the big bad guy the company lacks right now.
While Lashley looks the part, the change would be shocking to say the least. Lashley has been a victim of stop start pushes since his return to the promotion. Most times, it feels like the company has no idea what to do with him. A title reign though, if it happens, would be well deserved.
However, an argument can be made for Drew McIntyre. If he were to lose the title so soon into his reign, he could lose credibility and hurt his prospects in the future. The report though, adds that their feud could very well carry on until SummerSlam where Lashley will finally get his hands on the belt.
