Wrestling fans are no strangers to WWE mixing things up with Hollywood stars and celebrities every now and then. Similarly, there has been a natural cross-pollination between hip-hop and pro wrestling. Even Hollywood stars and various celebrities eagerly await the fast-approaching 39th edition of WrestleMania. WWE has strong ties with the Hip Hop legend, Snoop Dogg. His influence in WWE has been remarkable. On many occasions, Snoop Dogg has made his presence felt in the Stanford-based company.

One of Snoop Dogg’s memorable WrestleMania moments was at the 32nd edition of the grandest stage when he accompanied his first cousin Sasha Banks to the ring and sang The Boss’s theme song. At WrestleMania 24, the Gangsta Rapper was the Master of Ceremonies.

Aside from appearing at WrestleMania, Snoop Dogg was also seen partaking in many funny segments at multiple events in WWE. In the lead-up to this year’s WrestleMania, it appears as if the fans will witness another appearance from the rap icon.

Snoop Dogg loses his golden WWE Title

Taking to his Instagram on Saturday, Snoop Dogg posted a picture of his golden WWE title and stated that it was missing while he was on a tour. The rap icon also urged his fans to help him find it. Concerned about Snoop’s missing title, even WWE took to their official Twitter page to report the lost title.

Well, we can’t fully rule out the possibility of it being stolen for real but, it’s pro wrestling. If you are new to pro wrestling and are unaware of what kayfabe is, stay concerned for Snoop and his Golden WWE Title as it is clearly an indication that Snoopy is returning to WrestleMania 39.

Some fans are also speculating that his return could have something to do with the return of Sasha Banks, however, it is highly unlikely that The Boss will be present at WrestleMania as she is reportedly officially done with WWE.

Not only are Sasha and Snoop blood-related, but Snoop is also Sasha’s muse as her “Boss” persona is derived from Snoop Dogg’s character in the hip-hop industry. It remains to be seen if Snoop Dogg returns to Mania in any capacity.

Snoop Dogg idolized Ric Flair as a kid growing up watching wrestling

Ric Flair is as popular in WWE as he is revered in the hip-hop culture. Whether it is NBA, Baseball, or Hip-Hop, everybody knows who Ric Flair is because of his charisma in the ring.

Flair’s prowess and attitude have inspired multiple rap artists and one of them is none other than Snoop Dogg. The 51-year-old rapper has also spoken volumes about idolizing Ric Flair as a kid growing up watching wrestling.

“As a kid growing up watching Ric Flair. He was very inspirational to myself and a lot of other hip-hop artists. Because he represented what we wanted to be. We wanted to be Ric Flair, we wanted to be flamboyant. The kiss stealin’, wheelin’ and dealin’. We wanted to be all of that.” Said Snoop.
