After a successful wrestling career, the Big Red machine took up a career in Politics. He became the Mayor of Knox County, Tennessee last summer. However, that hasn’t stopped him from letting lose a few chokeslams here and there.

Here’s what happened…

Earlier this week, Glenn Jacobs delivered the opening speech at the National Association of Sports Commissions Symposium at the Knoxville Convention Center on Tuesday. Near the end of his speech a man came and interrupted him.

When Jacobs asked if the man knew who he was the man answered:

Yeah, you’re the Mayor.

I’m not just the Mayor ‘’Jacobs said before pulling out a Kane mask from his bag. He then proceeded to Chokeslam the poor man through a table and continued with his speech.

Here’s a video of the hilarious confrontation between the two.

Archie is a WWE and UFC Editor/Author at the SportsRush. Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
