WWE make changes to John Cena return on SmackDown. The Cenation Leader has not appeared since losing to Roman Reigns at SummerSlam.

John Cena wrestled Roman Reigns for the WWE Universal Championship at SummerSlam. Unfortunately he failed to overcome the Tribal Chief and will soon be on his way back to Hollywood. Before that however, he has one appearance scheduled for SmackDown.

Cena was originally supposed to team with Rey and Dominik Mysterio to face the trio of Roman Reigns, Jey Uso, and Jimmy Uso. However, according to PWInsider, the latest advertisements have Cena partnering with The Street Profits instead to take on The Bloodline.

“Local advertising tonight during Monday Night Raw lists John Cena as teaming with The Street Profits against WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns & WWE Smackdown Tag Team Champions The Usos in the main event of this Friday’s WWE Super Smackdown taping at Madison Square Garden in NYC. Cena was initially advertised as teaming with Rey and Dominik Mysterio. MSG’s official website has also be updated to reflect The Street Profits’ appearance in the match.”

Apart from Cena and Lesnar, this week’s episode of SmackDown will also feature a few RAW Superstars. WWE Champion Bobby Lashley, RAW Women’s Champion Charlotte Flair, and Drew McIntyre have been advertised for the show.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
