WWE Rumors: WWE Chairman Vince McMahon is reportedly planning something ‘wacky’ for the biggest party of the summer; SummerSlam.
For a promotion as big as the WWE is, the company surely likes to play loose and fast when it comes to their big 4 pay per views. Long term plans often go for a toss to tailor to the upcoming spectacle; Whether it be a booking decisions or logistics.

In recent times, the WWE have emanated from their performance centre. However, it seems that WWE are considering moving SummerSlam outside the PC per PW Insider Elite. The reported destinations include a beach and a boat.
Wrestling Observer Radio’s Bryan Alvarez was asked about the report by a listener and the wrestling critic revealed that he was aware of Vince McMahon’s desire to do something Wacky for the upcoming SummerSlam.

“I don’t think so. I know this – I know Vince wants something wacky for SummerSlam,” Alvarez said.
“He doesn’t want it to be just another SummerSlam in an empty arena with a bunch of fans wearing masks. He wants to do something different and I’m not sure what it is,” Alvarez continued.
“I think PWInsider was talking about a bunch of potential different locations. Which actually they’ve done when you think about the Boneyard Match or whatever. I don’t know what they’re gonna do but he wants to do something. We’re gonna find out very soon what his latest wacky plan is. He wants to do something different from what they’ve been doing for the last several pay-per-views.”
With less than a month to SummerSlam, one can only assume that the WWE would have already decided the venue or the theme by now. The promotion, as stated earlier, however, tends to get irresponsible around their big 4 events in a bid to make them bigger than what they originally planned. Some hit and some miss. Which one will SummerSlam 2020 be?
