WWE RAW 13 May 2019 Preview: Predicted matches and storylines

WWE RAW 13 May 2019 Preview: The SportsRush presents to you the predicted matches and storylines for the upcoming episode of WWE Raw.

Precap- Last week’s Raw opened with Roman showing up at Raw. Following a lengthy opening segment, WWE Chairman, Vince McMahon, introduced the Wildcard rule. The rule allows 4 superstars to cross brands for a one night only appearance. While still better than the show a week before, there wasn’t much to talk about. There were a lot of squash matches and unnecessary segments. Kofi Kingston and Daniel Bryan, both SmackDown stars, main-evented the show.

Here are the predictions for this week’s show.

Roman Reigns on Miz TV

Roman Reigns, kicked off last week’s Raw. With reports of Fox and NBC wanting Roman on their weekly programming, him being on the show was a certainty. Roman will be the guest at Miz TV this week. The two will in all probability address their common enemy: Shane McMahon. Expect Prodigal son and Elias to cause an interruption. Knowing WWE, the 4 will then take part in a tag team match.

AJ Styles and Seth Rollins

Last week, the Universal champion and his challenger were forced to team up and take on Bobby Lashley and Baron Corbin. AJ Styles would go on to accidentally hit Seth Rollins with a ‘phenomenal forearm’. He then left Rollins in the ring to fend for himself and walked away. Corbin then hit the dazed architect with ‘The end of days’ and pinned him. Seth then cut a backstage promo where he said that he was done with AJ and wouldn’t let him get one on him anymore and the next time he would break his face. Expect the 2 to get into an all-out brawl in the go home episode with AJ getting the upper hand once again.

Samoa Joe and Rey Mysterio

Last week, The United States Champion, Samoa Joe sent Rey Mysterio a challenge through his son. Rey will accept it. Expect a face off afterwards where Rey stands tall. It will be interesting to see what role will Dominic play in this feud.

Mojo Rawley

The former Andre the Giant memorial trophy winner made an untelevised appearance last week. They will most likely wait for this pay per view cycle to end before bringing his new look on TV. An appearance cannot be discounted though as it looks like Mojo is due a push.

Men’s Money in the Bank Participants

Drew McIntyre will take on Braun Stroman. Ricochet will also take on Baron Corbin. These matches were announced by WWE on their digital platforms. It would have been nice to see the development between Drew and Corbin after the Scottish Psychopath punched the Constable 2 episodes back but a Drew vs Braun match is indeed mouth-watering. Braun will likely take the victory in his bout. Ricochet will probably win his match against Corbin.

The Women’s Money in the Bank Participants

The WWE have announced a fatal 4-way match between the Raw Women’s Money in the Bank Participants. The women haven’t really had any spotlight since the match was announced and this could be a great way to show the fans what they’re capable of. Alexa Bliss might most probably win and Dana looks like the wrestler most likely to take the pin.

Sami Zayn

Having been thrashed last week, literally, expect Zayn to go on another rant against the crowd for finding pleasure in his misery last week. Thankfully last week with Braun seems like it was a one off because no one wants to see that. Unless WWE makes Sami getting beaten up by other wrestlers his gimmick. Hopefully not.

The Viking Raiders, Lucha House Party and Zac Ryder and Curt Hawkins

It looks like Zac Ryder and Curt Hawkins will not defend their titles at Money in the Bank. The Card is too stacked at the moment. However, you’d be a fool to put anything past WWE. Expect a one of the other or both teams two teams to become title contenders.

Bray Wyatt and the Firefly Fun House

Bray had earlier tweeted that he left a secret message back in 2015. That sent the Twitterverse into a crazy treasure hunt looking for the message. Many came close but no one could find the answer. Luckily, Bray has since said that he will give out the answer on Monday. The revelation could perhaps come on the upcoming episode of Firefly Fun House. Considering how dark the last episode was, it will probably be something sinister and twisted.

The Usos and The Revival

With news coming out that Vince wants to humiliate The Revivals to the point where they lose all credibility, expect another embarrassing segment again. It will definitely be something so cringe-worthy and unfunny that you will feel ashamed of calling yourself a wrestling fan. What Vince doesn’t realize that burying his talent like this will hurt the company in the years to come.

Becky Lynch, Lacey Evens and Charlotte Flair

The Queen will become the first woman to take advantage of the Wildcard rule. She will cross brands for the first time after mania for a double contract signing. Her confrontation with Becky will be as thorny as ever. It is however her interaction with Lacey that would be interesting to see. Expect the 3 to set the mic on fire. These segment could also most likely end the show.
