WWE Raw: Universal Champion Rollins and AJ Styles fight a tag team match: WWE Raw

WWE Raw: WWE Universal Champion Rollins and his challenger AJ Styles fight a tag team match as partners on tonight’s episode of Raw.

Earlier in the night. AJ Stormed into the ring to confront Vince over appearances from Smackdown Stars, Roman Reigns and Kofi Kingston. Vince defended the appearances by introducing the wildcard rule. One which allows wrestlers from different brands to turn up on the other.

Seth Rollins soon followed the Phenomenal one to the ring. He was clearly still upset about AJ sucker punching him last week. Both men got into a verbal showdown and it looked like their Money in the Bank match would happen tonight itself.

Instead, Vince McMahon announced that they would tag together against the team of Baron Corbin and Bobby Lashley.

The quartet had a decent TV match with the Universal title Rivals getting enough time to shine. Unfortunately the match was filled with commercial breaks.

The WWE Raw match ended with AJ accidentally hitting Rollins with a phenomenal forearm. After that the challenger walked away leaving the Universal champion laying on the ring. Corbin pinned Rollins and ended the match there.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
