WWE Stomping Grounds: Dolph Ziggler will face Kofi Kingston inside a steel cage for the WWE Championship.

Kofi Kingston and Dolph Ziggler went out to write another chapter to their storied Rivalry. However, their match at WWE Super ShowDown was rather lacklustre. There were some cool moments but it was not up to the standards these two men are capable of. They do however have the opportunity to rectify this in a rematch that Ziggler demanded after his loss.

The Show Off dominated most of the match and really put Kofi on the backfoot. But as has been the case tonight; Kofi managed to pull of a victory at the last moment. Xavier Woods played a huge role in the victory though. Woods kicked Ziggler in the face when the referee wasn’t looking. Kofi then landed a Trouble in Paradise to seal the victory.

An incensed Ziggler spoke of his displeasure to Byron Saxton backstage. He told the interviewer that he did not expect Kofi to indulge in under handed tactics to win. Claiming that he had outperformed and outwrestled the champion; he demanded a rematch for the WWE Championship. This time however, he wants the champion alone; inside a steel cage.

The match will  take place at the upcoming pay per view: WWE Stomping grounds. The Pay per View will emanate live on June 23, 2019 from the Tacoma Dome in Tacoma, Washington. The Pay Per View will stream live on the WWE Network.

Like most combat sports enthusiasts, his passion for watching people fight began with WWE when he witnessed a young Brock Lesnar massacre Hulk Hogan back in 2002. This very passion soon branched out to boxing and mixed martial arts. Over the years he fell in love with the theatrics that preceded the bell and the poetic carnage that followed after. Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all. His favorite wrestler is Shawn Michaels and he believes that GSP is the greatest to ever step foot inside the octagon. Apart from wrestling, he is also fond of poetry and music.
