WWE Superstar dead: Ashley Massaro Dies at the age of 39. WWE confirms the tragic news of her passing away on their digital platforms.
Former WWE Superstar Ashley Massaro has died. TMZ has reported that she was transported from her home in Suffolk County, NY to a nearby hospital where she died early Thursday morning. According to TMZ, the officials are not currently revealing a cause of death. But they have reported it being classified as “non-criminal.”

The WWE confirmed her tragic death on their digital platforms.
Since the news broke, a plethora of WWE wrestlers, both past and current, have offered their condolences.

Ashley Massaro made her WWE debut after winning the WWE Diva Search in 2005. She then became the Valet of former WWE Tag Team Champions Paul London and Brian Kendrick. She also appeared on the covers of several magazines including the April 2007 issue of Playboy during her tenure in the company,
Her most high profile match was the WWE women’s championship match against Melina at Wrestlemania 23 in 2007. Massaro was in the WWE between 2005 and 2008. Her death comes two months after she said she’s training to return to wrestling.
