Bobby Lashley Brock Lesnar Team up

Bobby Lashley, for many years, called out Brock Lesnar for a match and finally got his wish at the Royal Rumble last year. While he managed to overcome the Beast Incarnate, his performance was no one near as monstrous as his run before it. Lashley finally got to be his dominant self when they faced each other at Crown Jewel near the end of 2022. This time, however, he was the one who took the loss, setting them up for a tiebreaker, although, there has been no progress on that end so far. That doesn’t mean that the Almighty isn’t looking forward to the trilogy. In fact, he has a few stipulations in mind for a clash he believes is “about to happen.”

Lashley and Lesnar is a match fans have long asked for since The Almighty made his WWE return back in 2017. Their two matches, however, have not yet met expectations. This was supposed to be a Goliath vs Goliath encounter. Godzilla vs King Kong. Instead, fans have been served a mostly one-sided encounter with fluke wins on both occasions so far, and Lashley wants to change that.

Bobby Lashley wants to be locked inside a cage with Brock Lesnar

During an interview with the Hindustan Times, Bobby Lashley revealed that he was looking for a third match with Lesnar. He admitted that there haven’t been a lot of interactions between the two on-screen or backstage. However, he was looking forward to a blockbuster encounter between them next, considering how similar the two are.

“I like the kind of contests where it can make me push myself. I like to fight. Brock likes to fight. There’s a lot of similarities between the two of us, so I think that-that next matchup is what everybody wants to see will be No Holds Barred. It’s probably gonna come to a point where we’re gonna get locked in a cage or an Extreme Rules match or something like that. But it’s about to happen.”

It will be interesting to see what the WWE have in mind for the two heading into WrestleMania. Lesnar has to be a sure shot slot in the WrestleMania card. Considering the fact that he doesn’t have a running storyline at the moment, it is very possible that the two will have their final encounter at the Grandest Stage of all.

Brock Lesnar set to make WWE return at the Royal Rumble

Brock Lesnar has yet to be seen on WWE television since his fight with Lashley. The former WWE Champion attacked him after the match, and he was seen struggling to make his way back. Although, the WWE are yet to announce his return in any shape or form, recent reports suggest that he may make his way back to the WWE at The Royal Rumble.

Interestingly, Lashley is set to face Austin Theory for the US title at RAW XXX. Could the Beast Incarnate play spoilsport once again? There is no reason why he wouldn’t do so. However, it is more than likely that the WWE is saving their third encounter for a stage like WrestleMania.

Each bruise a story to tell, each wound a song of struggle, his greatest desire is to be there to witness it all.
