In its decades-long history, WWE has seen many legends, but only a few will match the intimidating factor of Brock Lesnar. The 10-time champion has a reputation for being a less talkative guy who always minds his own business. However, if someone dares to poke The Beast, he might end up fearing for your life. Recently, a former WWE head writer shared how disrespecting Brock Lesnar did not fare well for him once.
During the recent episode of the “Two Man Power Trip of Wrestling” podcast, Vince Russo brought a strange Brock Lesnar story to light. In the past, Russo has worked as a head writer in WWE. During the podcast, he claimed The Beast Incarnate once was so angry that he wanted to kill him.
Vince Russo recalled getting the news that Brock Lesnar “wants to kill you”
The incident took place sometime after 2006 when Brock Lesnar married former WWE superstar Sable. At the time, Vince Russo was working in Impact Wrestling. The former WWE head writer called Sable to ask her if she would work there as an authoritative figure. However, Brock Lesnar picked up the call first and then gave it over to his wife.
Unaware of what had happened, Vince Russo received a call from Kurt Angle after that. Angle, who was in Impact Wrestling back then, told Russo The Beast wanted to kill him. Brock Lesnar felt disrespected that the former WWE writer neither introduced himself nor talked to him.
“I get a call from Kurt Angle… He goes… ‘You call him [Brock Lesnar] to speak to Rena [Sable], you don’t introduce yourself to him, you don’t have a conversation with him.’ And he [Kurt Angle] says, ‘you totally disrespected him [Brock Lesnar], and now he wants to kill you.'”
Although Vince Russo said nothing about how the whole thing ended, he must have been terrified for a few days.
The Beast Incarnate could be making his return to the company very soon
With Royal Rumble 2023 almost a month away, Brock Lesnar fans must be waiting for his return. The last time he appeared was on November 5 at the Crown Jewel pay-per-view. The Beast Incarnate had a match with Bobby Lashley which he won marginally. And ever since, he hasn’t appeared on WWE tv.

However, the road to WrestleMania 39 has begun, and how can Brock Lesnar be kept out of that? In fact, there are reports that he could be returning soon to continue his rivalry with The Almighty. However, whether it will be at Royal Rumble or Elimination Chamber, is yet to be seen.
