Major WWE Talent Has Reportedly Requested Vince McMahon To Book His Matches Going Forward
Vince McMahon has finally returned as the company’s Executive Chairman after temporarily stepping down from his position back in July 2022. McMahon was forced into retirement after he was shrouded with controversy for paying multiple women millions of dollars in hush money to hide his sexual affairs and misconduct. His return to power has caused a domino effect in the system. The main objective of McMahon’s return was to facilitate WWE’s sale to multiply their returns. It has been reported that WWE has been sold to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund. Hours after the news broke, former CO-CEO Stephanie McMahon stepped down from her position.
According to reports, Stephanie McMahon and the Chief Content Officer were against McMahon selling WWE to Saudi Arabia. At this point, it is palpable that Vince’s return has met with low spirits backstage. Some employees and fans believe Vince was better off in retirement. However, a major WWE superstar is on board with Vince McMahon’s return to power and has requested WWE for letting Vince McMahon book his matches.
Brock Lesnar wants Vince McMahon to book his matches
It’s no secret that Brock Lesnar and Vince McMahon have a great relationship. Following Vince McMahon’s retirement last year, Brock Lesnar became upset and walked out of the arena during an edition of SmackDown. Now that the winds of change have struck the company with the Boss’s return, Brock Lesnar is one of the few who seems happy.
Xero News reported that Brock Lesnar wants Vince McMahon to book his matches. However, there’s no telling if Vince can operate the Creative again. Although Triple H is still the Head of the Creative, many believe that Vince McMahon is the backseat driver and has already started taking control of the Creative.

WWE HOFer thinks Brock Lesnar has Creative control in WWE
Speaking on the Strictly Business podcast, WCW head honcho Eric Bischoff stated he believes that Brock Lesnar has some power over making the creative calls in WWE. According to Biscoff, he gave his wrestlers creative control during his time in WCW, and because of that, there’s no reason to not believe that Lesnar has a say in the creative department.
Lesnar was last seen competing with Bobby Lashley at Crowl Jewels in 2022. Although he managed to win the match, the Almighty annihilated the Beast Incarnate after the match. Lesnar will seemingly return to the ring at The Royal Rumble.

Anybody that buys into the narrative that I let talent run creative [in WCW] and I gave everybody creative control. Let me tell you something, Brock Lesnar has creative control! And he exercises the hell out of it, like the hell out of it!”
